I will introduce myself as a poem keeper. —Delva Simunovic Adopting culture-specific imagery from the people of Soho, I embrace them with purpose and respect. I am an artist working in mixed media and I've walked along the streets of Soho every day for over two decades, where the air is, for the most part, breathable, and people are immersed in social conditions to which we are all subjected. It is these conditioned and situated experiences that provide the material for my work. PEOPLE OF SOHO is a small group exhibition. Works range from works on paper, textiles, sculpture and jewellery. The show will introduce a new artist fortnightly whilst maintaining an evolving collection. PEOPLE OF SOHO is curated by Delva Simunovic, influenced by and dedicated to the people of Soho.
